Some H4 headlamps to replace bad old sealed beams.

Look a sticker too!

I had never heard of these IPF conversion lamps from vintage car guys, but found many positive references to them from the Jeep and Land Rover crowd. Supposedly better than Hellas, plus why not try something different?

I’ve already mounted one in the car and compared it to the halogen sealed beam by holding a pizza box over one headlight, then the other. Big difference. Apart from the sharp E-code style cut-off (I don’t think these are actual E-code lights, being from Japan) they throw a LOT less stray light upwards than the sealed beam does. So I figure they may even be less annoying for oncoming traffic than the old lights. Unfortunately, haven’t tested the high beams because the high beam switch seems to have packed it in (I spend all day cleaning contacts and connections but the high beams still won’t come on - old car problems).

The “blueprint” on the box shows a rather different pattern lens than what is actually on the lamp. For some reason.
